Provide advice to Guatemala, specifically to the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources of Guatemala (MARN) in its role as temporary president of AILAC and strengthen the implementation of Guatemala's NDC
Goals
Strengthen the capacities of Guatemalan negotiators on the issue of adaptation and on issues related to negotiation, taking into account the global adaptation objective and the global balance.
Provide advice before and possibly during negotiations at COP28 with a particular focus on climate change to reduce the risk of implementation delays;
Support the preparation of meetings and notes of the AILAC group taking into account the defined priorities.
