Concept Note on water management and desalination in Egypt for the Green Climate Fund

The Concept Note contains all the guidelines required by the GCF and its User Conceptual Note Guide. In addition to the GCF investment criteria, this summary document must be prepared by the country's national policies and priorities regarding climate finance.

Goals

  • Offer technical guidance and training sessions to empower stakeholders in developing projects resilient to climate change, while meeting the criteria set forth by the Green Climate Fund (GCF)
  • Ensure the Concept Note complies with the Green Climate Fund's (GCF) guidelines, emphasizing alignment with GCF objectives, gender inclusivity, stakeholder engagement, and effective climate change adaptation and mitigation strategies
