Resilient Financial Structures for Climate Sustainability: Training and Advisory

Through a series of training sessions and advisory services, the program focuses on enhancing the technical capacities of Uruguay and strengthening the project portfolio to align with the GCF's criteria.

Goals

  • Provide training to members of national entities in Uruguay on climate financing, focusing on the characteristics and various types of financial structuring for projects aimed at promoting climate-resilient and low-carbon development, intended for potential national implementing entities
  • Offer advisory services to enable the implementation of two projects aligned with climate financing mechanisms, fostering sustainable development practices and environmental resilience within the targeted regions
