1) Technical Support for the CABEI Delegation at the Conference of the Parties (COP29) - 1.1) Development of a participation strategy document to guide the bank’s presence and optimize its climate finance objectives. 1.2) Provide direct advice and support to the CABEI delegation during the conference. 1.3) Manage and organize bilateral meetings with key stakeholders and strategic partners. 1.4) Support participation in and management of side events with financiers and other priority stakeholders. 2) Logistical support for a delegate from CABEI member countries. 2.1) Advise selected delegations from CABEI member countries on international negotiation processes. 2.2) Facilitate dialogues and meetings to align the priorities of SICA countries and strengthen collaboration with strategic partners.
The objective of the consulting engagement was to provide comprehensive advisory services to the Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI) during its participation in COP29, with the aim of strengthening its ties with key climate finance stakeholders and consolidating its leadership in the region. To achieve this, strategic activities were planned, organized, and executed, including bilateral meetings, side events, networking activities, and agenda preparation, all aligned with the bank’s strategic objectives.
